Artwork themed around emotions and “coming out on the other side
”after years of trauma and “overcoming it”, “starting to let go, life life.”
This shows in the collection in forms of hope, gold, a better coming time, being able to hold pain and move on. The figures may appear still torn as I still carry my past and wounds but that doesn’t mean that life can’t be beautiful.
So that’s the emotional part, visually I am going for texture, rawness (as I feel emotionally raw painting these) and in a way it reminds me of art I made some years ago :)
I hope to spread some positive emotions with this collection! Here are the current paintings in progress!

my dear memory
New painting for my gold Collection:
This painting is about a dear memory of mine.
Emotionally: when you have a tough road it’s very hard to remember the good memories. This one is a symbol of the emotions I’ve felt in the Caribbean ocean as a small kid.
The painting is calm and I was thinking about how magical the ocean felt.
It is with gold particles (as symbol of something healing in regards to this collection).
Just finished so I will take better photos in a few days but if you are interested I can share some more photos and videos already.

Art meaning:
With this painting I am showing the
acknowledgment of deep grief, the end of an old chapter and parts of self. Letting go of suffering followed by the fire of courage and overcoming.
The heart bursts with a flame of gold.
Maybe something that was there all along.
It's a balance of pain and hope, ending and new beginnings.
Symbolism:
Spider Lilly and phoenix
The idea came partly from my follower that suggested using spider Lilly's and a personal change for me in life.
