NEW Fracture and repair
My collector talked to me how she liked a broken statue sketch I´ve done in the past and so I wanted to do another drawing in that theme.
Latley I am also pushing my art style and making it feel more delicate in a way. The soul here is fractured but repairing, similar to my kintsugi painting.
The bird here is protecting her heart, the trees are a symbol I like to use to show growth.
I´m really happy how she came out, I see how I managed to improve this year.

NEW At ease - WIP
Current work in progress, here we have a painting where I am focusing on a peaceful feeling. My wish is for her to bring peace into a room and calmness, meditative.
For the art itself I am also combining elements from everything I have learned this year, going with textures, the melodic art style, surreal elements and more.
The plan for completion is to define her body more, the trees on the right and left side, I want to add some birds too and waterfalls while keeping the soft feeling.
Working with gold paint at some parts of the art, these reflect in the light.

New painting for my gold Collection:
This painting is about a dear memory of mine.
Emotionally: when you have a tough road it’s very hard to remember the good memories. This one is a symbol of the emotions I’ve felt in the Caribbean ocean as a small kid.
The painting is calm and I was thinking about how magical the ocean felt.
It is with gold particles (as symbol of something healing in regards to this collection).
Just finished so I will take better photos in a few days but if you are interested I can share some more photos and videos already.
I might add a little bit more gold too.

Artwork meaning : I was in the mood to explore my beyond collection again. This time the feeling was strangeness/ weirdness/ almost uncanny and my goal was to create something that feels like its own dimension. Listening to clean core music did the rest
And the reason I wanted to explore these feelings is because they make me feel safe and comfortable. I like strange things/ art that feels like another world. And the figure itself is torn as usual, repressing a soul that is devided, between joy and sorrow .)

A painting about grief and hope.
A painting about the process of grieving and about hope.
It explores how working through grief can make the journey ahead a little lighter.
The soul depicted here quietly confronts its past and parts of itself, looking inward to integrate what has been and thereby attain a better future.
The figure carries hope in her heart, symbolized by the rising sun, which represents a new day or a new chapter.
Confronting trauma and working trough it can make it possible to change and have a better future, even if it is hard work and grief is a big part of it.
I believe to truly let go, one must feel what has been avoided for years. But in the end it can set one free in a way, even if the past cannot be changed.
This painting stands for being able to hold pain and grow, simply to avoid carrying that burden forever, or at least to lighten the load.
But as always if you see something else in it and feel something else, that is welcome too!

Between Worlds
A new painting from my Forms & Feelings collection.
In this piece I explore shape, emotion and texture, creating a dreamlike atmosphere filled with both tension and hope.
The crane, with its wings outstretched, symbolizes healing, hope and transformation. Opposite it stands a woman who longs to spread her own wings, yet remains afraid of the unknown. She is caught between resistance and growth, between fear and the desire to become something more/ free.
This painting reflects how I felt while creating it. My hope is that it encourages others to face their fears and find the courage to spread their own wings.
