I schedule work month’s in advance and can reserve you a slot for later projects.
For a reservation I excpect 10% of the payment beforehand.

Since costom made art includes a long planning stage and a lot of communication it is priced higher than ordering my original art as the work hours usually double.

Fine art /Painterly art style
This is an art style inspired by impressionism, focussed on strong brush strokes and emotions. When zooming in it looks rough and raw.
For this kind of art I need to know what emotions to use, I can get there by listening to music! Here I like to use dreamy visuals and surreal elements but I am open for ideas.
Fine art requiers for you to trust me a bit and give me a bit of creative freedom to be able to create the best outcome! I will make sure to send you many process pictures.

Detailed fine art
For an exact pricing, I need to know more details about what I should paint and what it will be used for. The final price depends on how complex the artwork is and what size the painting should be.
Smaller or simpler pieces are priced lower, while larger, more detailed artworks will cost more. For example, a portrait will be charged less than a full character illustration.
We can be very creative here, add gold, flowers, or other decorative elements! Check out my art collections for inspiration.

I have many years of experience creating professional book covers and book illustrations. Pricing varies based on complexity, detail level, and licensing type.
Licensing for Indie Authors
All custom book cover commissions include a Timeless Book Cover License (+150%) by default.
This allows you to use your cover for the lifetime of one book title, worldwide, in all formats (print, ebook, audiobook).
However you will need to credit me as the artist.
If you need additional usage (marketing, merchandise, multiple titles, or full ownership), extra licensing options are available.
Book Cover Pricing (Including Timeless License)
All custom book covers for indie authors include a Timeless Book Cover License, granting lifetime use for one book title, worldwide, in all formats (print, ebook, audiobook).
Simple wrap-around cover: from €800
Medium-detail wrap-around cover: from €1,000 – €2,750
Detailed cover: from 2.000€ – 2.500€
Complex cover: from 3.000€+

In my experience, large illustration projects often involve variable timelines, revisions, and ongoing communication, which makes fixed pricing unreliable.

Return policy
As commissions are custom created artwork, I do not offer any refunds after I finish the thumbnail (you can see that in my worklow below) then a partial refund is possible. Just so that the working hours I have already invested or and products (such as canvases) get paid.
Contracts
Projects and commissions come with contracts to protect both parties.
Process

And so that we both are on the same page while working together.
Usually, a Commission will be finished within 1-2 months max. depending on the complexity, oil paintings might need more time for drying.
Changes:
I offer up to 3 turn rounds of adjustment, smaller things as color mood changes aren´t included. (For digital work).
If mayor changes appear in a later stage of a painting I will charge hourly on top.

I am an open minded artist supporting humans and their rights, so anything against that won´t be tolerated.

I don´t want my work to be used to train ai in any way.
This will be written down in the contract.
Houerly Rate
You can also hire me and I create invoices fitting to the work hours, I charge 100€ an hour.
Licensing
Standart Licensing:
When commissioning me, you are purchasing a license to use my artwork under my conditions for:
non-commercial purposes. This means you are not allowed to sell, use it as merch, promotion,
marketing, or any other commercial activity.
I reserve all rights to revoke your license.
You can however: print it for yourself, use it as profile picture and banner if you like. So, any personal use is alright with me.
I reserve all rights to the image and can sell it as prints, post them and use them however I like.
If you want to use the commissioned artwork for commercial purposes like book covers or print, please let me know and I can offer you different terms.
The high-resolution file will be sent to you when the Illustration is done to safe data for digital art, the oriiginal painting will be send to you via DHL with gifts once it is fully dry and varnished.
I offer additional 3 licensing tiers for commerical art, more info is below.

The Process

I like to structure my art process for optimal reslults and control for me and my clients!
For complex illustrations I can offer to paint different poses and compositions to choose from.
I also offer different color concepts for you in my process and send updates frequently.

My art starts rough and forms slowly, brush stroke for brushtroke.
I frequently send new updates when we work together.
This is a guide for how I usually work on my commissions with my client, which can differ depending on the request. 1) Planning: I need a description of what you want me to paint. Visual elements (and short descriptions) are personally very helpful for me, such as: • References (images from google/pinterest/etc for outfits, facial features) • mood boards • what emotion you want me to show • the world they live in • what the character’s personality is like If you want me to decide on these things, I can do that too, I’m always happy to design and bring in my own ideas! (However, if you want or want to avoid something specific definitely let me know!) Tip: Little doodles are very helpful for me!
Oil paintings get planned in sketches first, so we have a composition ready for me to use as a base.
My client wanted me to change the position of her face above to 3/4 that is why it is different from the initial sketch.
I build my cnavas with a sketch first, then a base for the color mood and then I add layers of oil paint for depth and details last.
